Jerry Goldstein and friends chartered the m. g. today .we started off jigging although we did not get any bass jigging we did battle for two hrs. with the biggest blues I've seen in recent history. these fish are worth going for , all of which are in the 12 to 20 lb & some over 20 lb class. if you were to tie one of these 20 lb+ blues tail to tail with a 30 lb Strilper the bluefish would drag the bass around until it was dead. these fish also do not have much dark meat and contrary to popular a pinion are good to eat. especially these fish because they are not feeding on bunkers instead they are gorged with sand eels ( most people that bad mouth these fish never ate one or if they did it sat in a garbage bag in the sun with the blood & chum still in the fish . they have to be bleed and properly cared for, anyone that needs help in the preparation or cooking of these fish feel free to call me ) we then clamed some bass lots of short & some keepers . We have open boat trips all next week and the bass fishing should improve after this moon . call for info & res. .
