We caught a lot of bass today but kept only one, unfortunately. Lots of short fish but they are still fun to catch. Towards the end of the day Capt. Kevin spied some bird life near where we were and so we went jigging. There was some load of bass but they were super finicky. Great readings, fish swirling all around but we landed very few considering how many we could see. I think they were feeding on very small spread out baitfish. Word has it there is a big mass of big bass not too far to the East of us so hopefully they're coming our way. There sure is plenty of bait around so I hope it busts wide open soon.
