Cod trip today was fair, nothing spectacular, a fair sprinkle of Cod, almost all keepers, around the boat. Some guys were hot, some were not. Very strong tide on deep wrecks didn't help. Some Ling, huge Seabass and jumbo flounders came up also and of course went back.:eek:

Wes Shourt Manahawkin, NJ was hi-hook with 8 Cod up to 27 pounds

Mudhole Ling/Cod tomorrow and Friday at 5 am
Cod trip Saturday at 2 am
Porgy trip Sunday at 5 am

Hey Capt were those cod caught mainly on bait? Any caught on jigs?

That last pick was Louis, biggest fish caught, not in the pool.:)

Louis is only 49" tall, so I don't believe that fish was bigger than Wes' fish.:D

About 5 pounds bigger. Louis is short but not that short:D :D :D
Rails are 41" high if he was that short he would have to fish in between them:D :D :D

Poor Louis everybody picks on him (and he loves it) :-)

Where is the box Louis stands on to fish? :D I don't see it in the picture.
