girlfriends brothers birthday is this week. the only day for us to get together is fri. we would like to do either a party boat for anything or crabbing. what would you guys recommend to try.

Why not try Mad Gaffer I thinks he's fishing out of the highlands for a month. He's a good fisherman and the most interesting man in the world!!! Fish have him mounted on their wall.... Lol give him a shout make reservation. You will see what I mean. You will catch fish too. But really you can't go wrong on any of the boats. They are all great fisherman.

Crabbing sucks( read my report). J2 5-5 trip is your best shot for ling. The other bottom boats will probably be chasing porgies.

Try the Ocean Explorer out of Belmar. 100 footer. He will be fishing for porgies, ling and one blackfish a piece. He does carries crabs for bait. If fish are there, you'll catch them......

has he gone out before? if not a 5-5 trip may be to long of a day. 3/4 day blues/stripers may be a good shot supposed to blow nw too i wish i could go lol
