Diminishing winds my a** were the first words I heard when I called Capt. Ron. this morning to check in if he made it out. The flag is standing starched and the boats are rocking in the slips, its not a day for ocean fishing today. I also talked to Capt. Dave from Sheepshead Bay and he has to fish in Jamaica Bay because its to rough to pass his jetty. Alot of people want to fish but the wind day after day has made the ocean a mess and unfishable for most of the boats to fish safely. They are calling for less wind as the day goes on and we will not be sailing this afternoon because we will have outgoing tide against the wind and you would not be able to stand up where we have to fish. The ocean will be laying down overnite and Capt. Ron as of now will be sailing in the a.m. We will be sailing tomorrow nite as of now but subject to change. Call before you come down 908-930-2335.
