The seas will start laying down and it might be a bit too snotty for the small boats but the Big Boat that is going out (125 Jamaica) will be just fine.
Hope to see many of you guys out on the Tuesday's 31 hour trip!!!

good luck to you out there. the forecast is improving hourly. it will be nice out there tomorrow. only concern is if the big blow spread the fish out- that happens a lot...when boats are off of the fish for multiple days, no one really knows where they are/went. after looking at temp charts, there are now some real nice gulf eddies to the south. suggest to howard to burn some gas and go south.

I know Howard will be pulling a chart today and go to the Best possible spot on Tuesday. Francis Bogan started party boat tuna chunking years ago and the Bogans alway find the fish, it's in their blood just as being on the water is in mine. Hope to see many regulars out there tomorrow like Kevin Cole, Gary Yarwood and Mike Jung. Here are three Great tuna fishermen and they will catch fish as long as they are where we are fishing and I have complete faith in Howard to find them

Tuesday into Wed. was a little slow but we boated 3 Big Eye and some long fin along with 70 Mahi.
Thursday to Friday was much better with nice ride out and Long Fin right as we anchored. One Big eye was hooked, brought around the boat and finally Danny "the Closer" was put on the rod to finish him. There was another 6 yellow-fin and over 25 long fin caught. At midnight the wind picked up strong and made for a nasty ride home. Howard waited for the Voyager to pick up his anchor and follow us in. The big boat took a beating on the ride in, but I was glad I was on there as we watched the Voyager take an offal beating. I'll be back at it on Saturday into Sunday, but it doesn't look like there will be a Sunday into Monday trip. It seems like the tuna have moved down from Hydrographers since the Viking Star was anchored right near us.
