The closest beach to me is Manasquan inlet any advice which area to fish to the south or to the north? Tried right in the inlet many times never had much luck, any info would be much appreciated.

What do you define as a plug? I've ever heard the same(That most fish these past few days have been on plugs), but my father always called top-water poppers "plugs" and I don't think that's what you all mean by plugs.

Anything that floats can be considered a plug in my book

I hope someone here got out, my bud was at the flume, not wreck pond watching guys on the jetty bring up fish...one keeper, had a guy park next to him , put on battle gear and hits the jetty, three casts later, and he's even in: unfortunately he had nothing but his wife to watch with breakfast...believe it or not.
Get out of the inlet and throw off the sides or front
Plugs: things that swim in the water: Danny's ,bombers, anything you want to call a plug, I say a plug swims under, otherwise it's a topwater something

My son and his buddy got hit by a wave yesterday at MI south jetty. Stephen saw it coming and held on to nav tower, his buddy got swept over the edge into rocks. He's ok thankfully. I had no idea they were going up there when I dropped them off in the inlet parking lot. Hopefully it'll lay down tonight!

These are the accounts I reference when folks ask me why I'm wearing a wetsuit.
