Right now the surf is a washing machine.

Once this storm and wind maching turns off, I'd bet Clams would be great in the surf.

This storm, wind and drop in temps might be just what need to get a fall run going.

If you were on the beach from Higlands Bridge south or north Saturday the wash was alive with blues and a few bass.Plenty of bait and it is early in the fall.2-6lbs all on metal!!!!

My hat's off to those who get out there now. It's a mess and the sea is a washing machine. I'd try to stick with the sand and stay off the rocks. Be careful folks.

Im planning on giving it a shot tm...Got them good on Tuesday before the real hard wind came thru...8 bass up to 26in..Mostly on sandeel imitations...Hope they are still in the feeding mode..Clams are an idea for you bait slingers..There will be lots of broke up clams in the wash after this

Careful is key i stood about ten to 15ft back from the tip witch is prety insane with 6to 8s cracking in front of me but one i have experience two i had corkers witch mean nothing but make a difference and 3 a buddy system and we both had a set check in time with buddies that knew exactly where we are family helps but most families when you say oh il be around the retreat or over behind the surf shop means nothing but a general area be cautious and not over confident respect that you can be washed away. As for my report should have been there was a lil tricky took Somme effort and was wet and cold but it sure paid off. Taking yhe night off got a nice sized one for the grill tonight prob one of 2or 3 i keep for the whole year as catch and release is like a religion to me except fluke they taste to good they must die!:D :D

Couldn't agree with you more be careful. I was washed off of the Allenhurst jetty about 5 years ago into about 15 feet of water in December . Not fun
