Party Boat Angler Sunday Fluke Report

It was a good day of fluke fishing and catching on the ANGLER again today. Mostly quality fish that needed no measurement and a 1 to 1 keeper ratio to shorts, The water temp. is cooling and the fluke are biting. Rich Thieling from Clark had the pool with a fluke around 6 pounds. Mike the Plumber just missed with a nice fish. No limits but plenty with 3 and 4 keepers. Jim Custer and Jose jigged in the stern and each had 4 keepers.

I would guess that tomorrow would be good with west winds, the water cooling and NE winds forecast for Tuesday.

IF THE FORECAST HOLDS FOR TUESDAY WE WILL NOT SAIL. LET YOU KNOW TOMORROW.

Yes Vin - that was me and that was the best part of my day. In the shadows and taking a picture of the dirty shrimp from the angler.

Yesterday was nothing short of pure and utter Googan-ness for myself
Fish being caught to the left of me - to the right of me and everywhere else but on my hook. I had 2 good hooksets yesterday . 1 was bottom and I really got that one good - but I did set the hook . The second one was a short ( If you read Captain G's report 1 to 1 keeper ratio and he wasnt lying) - well it was except for my fish . All quality fish came overboard today. No measurements needed.

Also No Gorski's ( until the end of the day at the dock - thanks again Big JOE ) - we were greated by Rock-N-Roll - Mikey and we had a special apperance by wiat for it - out of retirement Self - Proclaimed Super-Mate Brian . Really nice to see him except for ???

In the morning I see somebody eating a banana - ( I wont mention any names Jose ) and I said WTF , he laffed at me and said it means squat - he had 4 keepers. He was right - Well the next thing I know I find a banana peel on top of my gulp and next to my gulp bag. I screamed like a girl at a New Kids - On The Block concert - yes showing my age - these new boy bands suck and yes the 80's and 90's were great and cant be touched - Bite Me

Well it wasn't Jose - IT WAS FRIGGIN BRIAN - all star mate backup - He got me good and I blame the banana and - hey it's not my fault right ??? and I paid him for it . Also congrats on everthing Brian and it was great getting skunked by you AGAIN.

Regardless bananas or not - the fishy gods said it wasnt my day and so Be-It . Man I was pissed ask Jose - I MF'ED everything up and down the East Coast . I got the big Ol Dounut - ZERO - Like a BEEEAAAATTTCCCCHHHHHHH

Hopefully I do better than this week - but hey I cant go nowhere but up from here - beats the alternative right ???
