Let see, I fished the Navesink with my kids on Sunday, loads of croakers and spot. Fished clam strips as the worms on the market right now are cr#p. Folks fishing the piers in Red Bank and Fair Haven have been doing well on the croakers, spot and crabs. Monday I caught one 24" Bass and things should start up soon as there is a ton of bait in the river. I might have to try a night mission soon.

The guys fishing the surf are still reporting slow fishing. My dad was able to manage a 7lber (Bass) off Monmouth Beach. He caught it on a gold point jude butter fish. The Bass must have been thick if he caught one. A couple customers managed to get a few bigger blues and short Fluke.

I hope things improve quickly as like many of you, I need a good day of fishing ASAP.

They are chewing some night's better than others but getting my practice and daily routine has Been nice work ten to twelve hrs fish 8 sleep 3or 4 and do it again 6times s week when in full swing got to love the bass season pumped for the end of October and November nothing better than all the hrs paying off.

Adding to surf report:couple buddies had over ten shorts and only one keeper that were around the 34inch mark and many blues coping the eels in half this has beensince Monday
