FISHERMEN/Tuesdays Fishing Report....

I can only describe today's fishing in one word, "PAINFUL".
From the crap conditions, to no conditions, a nasty roll, the wind changing direction several times and so on. Covered a whole bunch of miles looking for the bite that didn't happen. Fished everywhere we have been catching to only find a hand full of fish and not much life, some shorts, sea bass and a few keepers.
For the gentlemen who was telling his friend on the phone "This was the worst trip I have ever been on" I certainly feel your pain, Now, times that by 40 and that's how I feel after today. When they bite, hero, when they don't BUM. You can't say it was lack of effort for sure.:)

Back at it tomorrow.

Anglers know they don't chew everyday! I've known you a long time, and I know you tried your hardest. Can't pull that rabbit out of the hat everyday.

Capt. Dan worked his butt off last night but the stripers were not on the same page. One keeper weighing 23 pounds and 39 inches long. One short late and that was it. The captain and mates gave it their all. A great trip anyway. Thanks all for a nice night on the water.

I went out on both trips Monday's Stripper and Tuesday's Fluke even though the fish did not cooperate AT ALL the both Captain's couldn't have tried any harder than they did. Would like to thank the Captain and crew for all their efforts.it is nice to see the report posted as the fishing actually was. THANK YOU

It's s joke! And every Prowler report is a joke!! And if you disagree with Gerry! He will delete the report! It has happened before and will happen again! He "owns" the site! What happened to the deleted tread????? Doh!!!
Please, if you have to vent, start a new topic, it's not cool to use my post for a platform to bash the competition. I appreciate your support but this will only start a shit storm and probably get you tossed off the sight if it continues.

Just one man's opinion TPK, but why not delete your derogatory posts from Captain Ron's thread and re-post elsewhere. A simple apology seems insufficient. Relax & go fishing.

Hey Capt. Ron. Feel better after reading your report fished all aound the Sandy Hook yesterday with one keeper. It's frustrating when you have a tough day and everyone says how great the fishing was. Thanks for the honest report.... Walt
