Ling & Cod
Fishing over the weekend was pretty good again with mostly Ling and a handful of keeper Cod making up the bulk of our catch. We did see some Fluke one day and as always the big Winter Flounder that we have to throw back. With a constant movement of Ling back and forth from just inshore to inside of the Mudhole and surrounding areas there is no reason to expect the fishing to continue to be anything but good.
Friday started off kind of nasty in the morning but the day improved as did the fishing. Kirk Davis from Rumson, NJ had 31 Ling, Brian and Delores Cassidy from Philadelphia combined for 54 Ling, George Ricks from East Orange, NJ had 18 Ling and Tarhs Melmic won the pool with a nice 4+ pound Ling.
Moving from Friday into the weekend we saw some Cod move into a few spots in addition to the Ling and Winter Flounder (hate throwing those big flatties back but can't be helped) Linda Johnson from Trenton, NJ won the pool on Sunday with a 9lb. Cod and had 20 Ling for the day. Some other catches of note from the weekend were Eric Hudson from Westfield, NJ with 22 Ling, Avery Jensen from Millville, NJ with 36 Ling, Dave Norstow from Englishtown, PA had 2 keeper Cod and 26 Ling, Mark and Rose Coughlin from Freehold, NJ combined for 34 Ling and Daniel Tarkus from Galloway, NJ had 29 Ling
We will be sailing every day for Ling and Cod until Sea Bass season opens back up on September 27th. From Sept. 27th through October 14th we will fish for Sea Bass every day, and return to Ling fishing on October 15th when Sea Bass closes again.

SEA BASS Season is now Closed & will re-open September 27th.
We are fishing for Ling & Cod every day.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday Marathons
6:30am till 5:00pm every Monday, Wednesday & Friday targeting Ling & Cod
Daily Ling Trips
6:30am till 3:30pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday targeting Ling and Cod
