Stopped in to see Pete for bait and ice before heading offshore Saturday. Loading the truck I noticed that my penn 50w had lost an important part, the handle along with the L/H mechanism. Brought it in to Pete to see if had ever seen this happen, but of course not. Without hesitation, he grabbed one of his Penn 50w, removed the old line and loaded it with fresh line. He also is sending the broken reel back to Penn to get repaired. I'm not sure if there any other shops that would do the same, but I really appreciated the loaner. Although it was an uneventful trip, it helped complete my spread. Thanks again Pete!
