Friday, Sep 6th, Pa Family Hits Cod Aboard Relentless Charters

[Relentless Charters]

Today on board was the Mark Penchey charter from Pennsylvania who were hoping to go fish for tuna and cod. Unfortunately there have not been any real tuna to speak of in the area so today’s trip turned into a cod fishing expedition.

Joining Mark was his son in law John, wife Barbara, daughter Stephanie and sons Jason and Kevin. The plan was to fish using jigs and teasers which has been the key the last few weeks. Once Capt Curt and Gilles who was mating arrived east of the bank the fishing started and rods started bending.

It was a steady morning pick and it slowed down later in the day during the tide change. However working jigs hard paid dividends for the charter.
