After what seemed like an eternity (realistically about 2 weeks) of being dry docked for repairs, Capt. Tom, Capt. Ed and I were able to take out the FISH TANK yesterday to make sure everything is running well for our charters this weekend. Of course, we couldn't resist wetting a line while we were out there!

We started off down the beach looking for some porgie action, but they were no where to be found so we tied on the jigs and on to plan B we went.

The first drift produced 2 nice keepers both around 3lbs and a few shorts. We made a bunch of moves trying to find some new patches of fish and it definitely paid off. After only a couple of hours of fishing, we decided to head back to the barn just 2 fish shy of a boat limit.

Once again, I had the pool fish that tipped the scale at 7.1lbs which fell victim to my Gulp! teaser (5" white swimming minnow):D The white Gulp seems to be working better when the sun is high and the pink has been doing the trick first thing in the morning.

We still have a few open boat spots available next week. Please call or email me if you are interested.
