I wasn't sure if they were in the canal or not. This pic explains a 3 way rig pretty well.

Perhaps the Big D will yield one up soon enough!

Nobody here gives a rats ass about what happened in TN, GA or NC!!!! How about the 52 lber that was just taken out of the the Schuykill?!?! The south is where these fish came from. Of course they're bigger down there in HELL. 21 lbs out of the BIG D is an ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!

I think the colder winters prevent them from growing huge up here. I'm sure there are bigger fish in the river. I would bet the next few years will produce 30 and maybe even 40 lbs.

Flatheads down south get much bigger than 45 lbs. 70 is a trophy and the record is 123
