On Monday a stiff breeze was good for our beach but we could only find a pick of keepers with some spots having good short action. Our best fishing was the change of tide drift in our channel Al Johnson from Laural Pa took the pool with a 6 1/2 pound fluke and high hook had 4 keepers.
Today we had wind against the tide all day but we did manage a lot of larger fish from 4 to 6 1/2 pounds. Jim Custer from Edison took the pool with a 6 1/2 pound 26 inch fluke. Jay Slomovitz from Westfield had an early limit on bait with some very nice fish.
