After six months of insurance companies BS and fire damage repairs, we finally put the boat into our AH slip. Tough weather conditions with a NE wind but fishable all day. Mike O., Captain Lou Truppi and myself started in SH channel with two shorts. It laid down a little so we went further offshore where we caught about ten fluke on rough stuff. Ended up with three keepers including a 4 1/2 lber. One small bluefish too. I was complaining until I heard everyone struggled today too. So I don't feel so disappointed. At least we were able to fish in the JCAA tounament and give it hell today. But do we feel like three old beat up men from all the hard waves we took all day. It was nice to be young!
Thanks Tom Fote and all the VOLUNTEERS. Unlike other fish organizations NO ONE takes a dime for their work and effort. ALL the money donated goes into the organization, not into someone elses pocket in the way of salaries. For me, working from your heart is much appreciated. The JCAA will always get my morale and financial support because of your unselfish efforts. I hate to think of all the time and money you people laid out at your own expense.
