Tile fish question

Going next weekend on the voyager,long long time since party boat days.the trip is tilefish was wondering if any has been tuna fishing at night? Also have oj 4000p with 40lb jb hollow is this line suitable for party boat? Been thinking of getting jm pe6,anyone use this size what's ur thought's.

I have been on almost every tile trip this year and have not seen a tuna caught at night yet. A couple of makos and other sharks and a swordfish lost boatside has been it. I have a PE-6 on my lighter tile outfit. Its loaded with 50lb Momoi Diamond Braid and a 60lb mono top shot. It holds over 500 yards and I have had no issues with it at all. I also use PE-8s and lately I have been trying out a new Maxel Ocean Max 10.
