Last night, we headed back out to where we have been fishing. Anchored up and immediately had singles and doubles which lasted until around 11:00 p.m. Made a move, anchored up and continued to catch more blues. It was a very good night of fishing and limits were had all around the boat, and many more were released.
This morning, we started out on the lumps and hills again with great results. We were able to make long 45 minute drifts. Teasers, bucktails and 27’s all worked great. We took a ride to the north mid day on a report of big blues on top. We were able to pick a few of them up to 19 lbs on a few drifts. This died out and we finished the day back down on the lumps. Overall, it was a great day of angling again with a variety of fish. Our pool winner was Rick Vescovie from Hamilton Square, NJ with a 19 lb blue.
