Hit Ambrose's early for only shorts, made a move to a lump pile west of fg and caught more shorts and some nice large cbass that went back. Went into the fleet by fg for 1 keeper and some more shorts. Made a move to the mud bouy area and started catching keepers with a ton of shorts. More large cbass too. Had to power drift the last hour , wind against tide but lasts the*last 2 keepers this way. Headed back and jigged some little blues near the hook for fun. Ended the day with 9 keepers, 2@5 lbs .*

Yea, I been catching a lot of large sea bass too. It sucks that we have to throw them all back. I threw back a 4 lb. one yesterday that then died and was being eaten by sea gulls. Had we only decided to raise the size limit to 13", the season would have been open for most of the summer.

My bucktails with sacrificed fluke strips and gulp grub teasers. All colors worked.
