Alaska 2013

I went with David Man(Eel Killer) and Eric (mortgage man) to Alaska last week and it was an amazing trip. Everything from the food to the service was awesome. The fishing was insane. We caught about a dozen different species of fish including 5 Halibut over 100 lbs. Watch the video attached simply awesome.

Charter Master Scubanut did a great job .Accommodations were great ,food was very good and fishing was out of this world .Took quiet a few species of my list including a PB 62" 120lb Halibut .Trip of a lifetime .Eric and Ryan are great guys or as I call them Easy E and Beast from East .lol

This was a trip of a lifetime. I had always wanted to go to Alaska and I can now check this off the bucket list. Ryan did an amazing job at finding a tremendous lodge at a great price. Very good crew and fantastic fishing.

Guys, that was freakin' AWESOME!!! Those Lingcod look nasty as hell. Wouldnt want one of those latching on to my hand! How were those jumbo Halibut nailed?

Thanks for sharing it looks like you had an unbelievable time. It`s been in not only mine , but my 15yr old sons bucket list to do a trip to Alaska to share some unbelievable memories catching nice fat Halibut! The lingcod are nasty all they want is a piece of your finger lol And yes they were big butts .The lodge vacuum packs & freezes the fish for you and you can take it home as luggage or have it shipped home

Wow! Ryan that was awesome!!!! Great video. Gonna try to get out there for my 40th next year. The scenery and wildlife not to mention the fishing is just incredible. Great job man!

Nice! We have Vermillion Rockfish(reds), Chuckleheads and Ling Cod here in So-Cal, but they grow to giant proportions in Alaska. It looks like you trolled(bounce balled) for the halibut? I went to Alaska about ten years ago and we anchored up and bottom fished using Octopus Tentacles and salmon heads as bait.

We only trolled to catch salmon. We used pink salmon, herring, and some cod that we caught as bait for the halibuts. We also jigged some halibuts.
