Every dog has his day and this will not be it for me. Out Fluking last week and starboard engine craps out. 5 cylinders great compression, 1 zero compression. You would think that 5 out of 6 would be good. Maybe in hourse shoes or hand granades but not when it comes to engines. Down time looks to be 2 to 3 weeks.

Our boat, Funny Pharm, sustained fire spread damage while drydocked this past winter in Keansburg. Between the F++king insurance companies lying to us for months and blaming each other, the SLOW speed the marina is spending fixing the damage, we are still in drydock. And we paid for a yearly slip which has been empty all summer. We missed most of the tournaments we enjoy fishing in.
Anyone out there that is looking for a fishing companion let me know. I've been hopping on party boats and its getting old. Nothing like fishing on a private boat. I miss it.

Oh that stinks. Sorry to hear that. 2 to 3 weeks normal time. 4 to 6 weeks marine time. With very few exceptions I find that most marinas work of LA smoke pot time. They get to when they feel like it and that is if the weather is to poor for roller blading or what ever else they do. I just don't understand the way they think. I'm happy to know that the current mechanic we are using does a great job and is pretty timely. Good luck and gods speed.
