We had a decent nite of fishing last nite with the striped bass and the porgies. Years back, I would fish the whole summer for the stripers and we would have some nites with over 300 fish no lie, my regulars reading this right now are remembering the good old days which were not so long ago. But times have changed and now we have to improvise our nite fishing with whatever is biting. We had a handful of keeper bass, a couple handfuls of short bass and picked away at the porgies when we anchored up. The porgies were not the big ones we caught on Tue. nite but were all 9 to 12 in.fish. The weather sounds nasty for tonite so we are going to cancel tonites 6;30 trip but sounds good for the rest of the week. For info 908-930-2335.
