Sea Bass & Ling

After a fantastic day of Sea Bass fishing on Sunday we headed back out on our Monday marathon trip to mixed results. Fishing was OK but it was not as good as Sunday. Several anglers had 10 to 15 keeper Sea Bass and some Ling but most anglers had from 3 to 6 Sea Bass and a handful of Ling each. There were also quite a few Fluke as well with a handful of them being keepers. It was good fishing but we were spoiled from the day before!

Tuesday's Deep Water Ling Special produced some good catches of Ling with a bunch of Cod mixed in as well. Anglers had from 10 to 15 Ling per man with a few high hooks in the 20's. Wilbert Cousins from Trenton, NJ had 10 Ling and a nice pool winning Cod that ran about 12 pounds, Ron Cook from North Arlington, NJ and Tom Finnerty from Fords, NJ combined for 33 Ling and 1 Cod, Joseph Dtzelchik from Oakland, NJ had 16 Ling, Steve George from Old Tappan, NJ had 13 Ling and 2 Cod, Arnold Stapp from East Windsor, PA had 22 Ling and 1 Cod and Dave Maskowitz from Burlington, NJ had 19 Ling.

We are now sailing 5 days a week for Sea Bass and 2 days a week for Ling and Cod.
