Hi guys! It feels good to finally post a report after our 2 week hiatus. Capt. Tommy and I sailed yesterday with Henry, Gary, Bill, Vinny and Dr. Gregory.

Once we got tight on the hook, it was drop and reel sea bass, but you had to weed through a lot of shorts to put some meat in the box so half an hour and 20 keepers later, we decided to move on. The next few spots were a bit slower but still managed to put some more fish in the boat before the guys opted to give fluking a try.

The drift was nonexistent to start off and the robins were stealing our bait left and right, but as the wind picked up, so did the fishing. We ended the day with a dozen and a half keepers to 6 1/2lbs and at least 3 times as many shorts to go along with about 40 sea bass in the box. Not the best day of fishing by any means, but everyone went home with meat and it was great to be back out there again doing what we love.

We have 2 open boat spots available this Tues and 1 on Wed. Please call/email me if you would like to join us.

Tight Lines!

~Capt. Kevin

He sure did, Jeff!

BTW - Your uncle had a fish that weighed 6.10lbs, but that included the 8oz bucktail it inhaled :)

Anything that the fish ate counts towards the weight, just because it was a jig and not a half digested bunker, it should count. :D
