View Full Version : Excellent Bluefishing Today - Big Jamaica - Friday

Day time Bluefishing has been very good all week. We are catching smaller blues on jigs From 1 to 4LBS. The best areas are 7 to 9 miles East of Brielle. We read plenty of bluefish on the scope and sometimes make long drifts catching fish for almost 1 mile or catch them at anchor.
Today we anchored in one spot and caught the blues all day.
The pool winner caught a 4LB bluefish.
Everyone was able to catch their limit of bluefish the past few days and release many more.

Night fishing has been tough this past week. We did not sail last nite due to the sea conditions. We are past the full moon and had NE wind the last couple of days so hopefully more fish moved back in and they will feed at night.
Some nights when the blues don't bite they have been catching some ling.

The weather report for this weekend is very good calling for light winds. It looks like a great day to bring the family bluefishing.
The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail every day at 7:30AM and every night at 7:30PM

If you knew how bluefishing has been the past week or so you wouldn't doubt the report. Look at the other reports, they're all catching them. It's been a tough year for these guys and the reports have been accurate throughout. He even says the night fishing has been tough, what more do you want?

Njcoastlfisherman all the bluefish party boats have been limiting out for a week now. There all fishing in the same area.l caught over 30 last Saturday.The reports are on the money.Your post is not:D

Not me. I left him on there. We had more views than usual! Maybe somebody else will come out fishing since they finally read the report.

Howard,
You run a class A Boat. Your reports are always true, I've only seen you cut back on how great some fishing has been because you think some people wouldn't believe it. You and your family have been in the business way to long to make stuff up and anyone who knows you knows you will tell the truth. I'm sure I'll see you some time this week.
