Humpday on the dirty shrimp

I had Vintastic out on the dirty shrimp for some midweek fluking. Headed right out to the ocean in search of some bigguns. Found a nice patch and picked away thru the last of the incoming and into slack. Lots of action with the occasional keeper. Current started running hard for the out going and the wind picked up and that was it for us. Fish shut down or just could not catch up to the bait. Made a move inshore then called it a day. Vin ended up with three in the box while I only had one boxer.

Next trip out will be Saturday for the elks. See you on the water.

Took the invite from the Shrimp and really thought today was gonna be a real beat down day with the flattys,WRONG. Anyway I gave it hell only to come up short of a limit:rolleyes: hard to believe that 5 keepers can't be caught after goin where ever we want with no time limit and OUR skills ;) it just simply blows my mind,well there is always next time.. Thanx Shrimp will get em next time and if I have to drag bait I will:eek:.. Nahhh
