I'm looking to try to get some live Snappers for Fluke Tomorrow AM. I was thinking about getting down to the boat early & try to get some with my sabiki rig. I know there are snappers in Brielle. I'm just sure if they are there in Atlantic Highlands yet. I just wanted to know if it's worth the trouble of bringing another rod just for them.

Plenty of them and they are the perfect size now.

Got some on Sunday. Sabikis should work but after a while they would only hit the sabiki with a small amount of minnow chunks on the hooks. How do you guys keep them alive ? I put them in my bucket with aerator and they seemed to have died very quickly.

I use a big aerator I keep my bucket in as much shade as possible & I frequently change the water. A few cubes of Ice wont hurt either it brings the water temps down & stress levels lower. Just make sure you don't use too much ice.
