Well, I hit the Phillips Ave Jetty from 5:30 pm-9pm for Fluke two evenings in a row. The water temps looked good enough to convince me to go, and I knew they would cool as the sun eases off.
I had a 18+ incher on the first evening, plus 4 shorts and unfortunately a 20+ lb cownose ray(took 15 minutes to land). The second evening, I raised two nice keepers, one 20+ inches. Good action at that. Also, as I mentioned before, there was nice acrobattic peformance by a shark feeding on the snappers, presumingly a Dusky.

P.S. the 3 Fluke in the picture look a little shitty because of a minor incedent with my mother, who putt them in a cooler with bacteria laden water from my trip. They were in there for 5 minutes. I did the best I can to save them with some kosher salt + Salt Water and they turned out okay, not to my liking though.
