This year will be the 6th time that there will be a Kayak division in the Pt. Pleasant Elks fluke tournament and the winner will get him/herself a Jackson Cuda kayak. This kayak is the real deal!

The kayak division will take place on both Friday and Saturday.

Additionally, there will be a Native Slayer kayak raffled off for $20/ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Bar-B-Que and the winner needs to be present to bring it home with them. This means that everyone who enters should have a pretty decent shot at winning.

The proceeds from the kayak division registrations and the raffle will benefit both the Ellks and the New Jersey Chapter of Heroes on the Water.

So come on out, have a few steamers with me, give to an outstanding cause and maybe, just maybe, you'll be riding high in one of these sweet machines!

Visit us at www.hownj.com to learn more about Heroes on the Water and how we help reintegrate and rehabilitate our wounded warriors through the therapeutic qualities of kayak fishing.

I'm fishing the kayak division on Friday and the boat division aboard the Sea Soda on Saturday. So I'll be easy to find. Just look for the guy accepting first place prizes for both divisions :D

By the way, if any of you are interested in seeing what HOW does, check out the video (www.hownj.com) from our Sandy Hook event which took place a couple of weeks ago. Special shout out to Atlantic Bait & Tackle at about 5 minutes in. Pete supplied us with a ton of bait!
