Does anyone use the gps apps available for download for the I-phone?

Any recommendations?

Navionics... It's 14.99 in the app store. I don't use it but have a friend who does. He has it on an iPad mini instead of a marine gps and loves it. You do not need to have a cellular or wifi coonection to use it. You can download the maps to your phone while online and use them offline which is a big plus.

Only issue I see with using an iPhone/iPad is In full sun the screen is going to be difficult to see.
