Is good use bait or lures? What kind of fish do find there? I have 2 7 ft surf poles and as of now I was going to do 1 baited and 1 using a lure. Any tips would be gladly accepted. I have only surfed fishing in spring lake and florida. Thanks for the help.

My brother in-law just got back from the holiday weekend. You catch croakers, spots, fluke and sand sharks. They used squid and bucktails with gulp and strips of squid. He said there was lots of action. Good luck, if you go.

best bet would be to travel to the cape may jetties for croakers weakfish. top and bottom rig with bloodworm will catch ya something
I've been going to Wildwood many years. I use to fish the surf and never caught any amount of fish worth talking about. Then fifteen years ago I boarded the Porgy IV at Cape May Marina, fifteen minutes from Wildwood. Right across the bridge across the street from Jims Tackle store. Capt. Paul is a superior fisherman. No BS kind of guy who is very honest. I haven't put sand between my toes the past fifteen years. I never got skunked once fishing with him. My vacation time is too precious to waste. There's plenty of fluke, sea bass and croakers on the artificial reefs just outside Cape May inlet. Try his boat once and you'll be hooked.
