Tom and I were out on Flynn's Knoll looking for our favorite flatfish where conditions were poor with a wind against tide and rough water. We made a small move to #13 Sandy Hook Channel where bottom structure has been changed by storm Sandy, although the wind was less here. Then it was around the hook down as far as Gunnison Beach where small Fluke made a showing out to the false Hook were the dogs, Skates more shorts were in abundance, although we never saw the Cownose Rays Tom latched onto three of them. Having gotten beat up enough a move inside to the Southeastern section of Sandy Hook Bay we picked at small Fluke and Croakers and Tom found the only two Bluefish around which Tom turned into Dog food for Josie the lab. No keeper Fluke today. Pete
