What's new my fishing day off is ruined by weather once again. I really want to go but with the threat of t-storms I rather not be on a boat.
I wouldn't listen to the forecast. I see like this if the marine forecast is good, The boat is sailing. I'm in!

Not a great forecast but I would not write Friday off just yet. Seems like we've had a threat of scatterd or isolated thundertorms every afternoon for a month now and it's getting old.
I'd plan to get up early on Friday, see how the weather/storms are tracking and make the call then.

As an outdoorsman, you need to further in depth with the weather. I hate how if there is a 30% chance of thunderstorms the picture for the day is cloudy with lightning. You need to look at the Hour-by-hour fprecast oppose to the whole day and even then its sometimes not accurate. I ALWAYS go by the doppler radar which is very easy to tell what weather is coming our way. The Weather Channel App for Iphone is very good and updates every 20 minutes or so. As for NOAA im not a huge fan of their reports. Good luck for Friday

Good luck to you tomorrow.
Similar boat here...pun intended...the first Saturday I've had free in a month, and it looks like the forecast is deteriorating. And as usual, windguru and noaa reports are conflicting.

How was it out there today? Winds are switching to tonight to the north east.
Couple of my buddies were out today, the weather was fine. However, the fishing was a little slow but they still managed a nice catch of Fluke biggest being 8lb. I'm going Saturday on the Tagged Fish, to sling some ling.

Looks good to me!

Tomorrow morning looks fine.
The weather will keep away all the people that need to be kept away,,,
and the boats will be full of fisherman who enjoy a nice shower on a hot summer day.

Starting to look good...as long as it's not electrified, a cool shower is always welcome on a hot day.
