Capt Jim Elliott had the GOLDEN EAGLE out today, he called from the ocean and reported very good Bluefishing, with several customers having limit catches of Big Blues. Most of the fish were caught on bait with a few on jigs. The fish ranged from 8 to 14lbs.
Folks this is the fishing we have been waiting for all season so NOW is the time to come.
I will update the report with pic's when he hits the dock.
The Golden Eagle sails daily for Blues & Stripers at 7:30am and every night for Blues at 7:30pm from Belmar Marina.

Well like the title says a Very Good Day on the OffShore BlueFish grounds took a little to get them going but most of the time there we held 3 or better on at a time with as many as 6 on some times. This is a GAZZILION % improvement from what it has been. High hook of limit and low hook of 3 or 4 . Very Good Day check out the pics. Ill be back at it in the morning
See Ya Soon

Great day today! Finally got to pull against a blue that pulled back and boy oh boy, those were some mean and nasty big 'uns today living up to their well earned pound for pound rep. Guess I won't be taking them for granted anymore. Great job by Cap't Jimmy having the patience to wait out the initial lull when we first anchored. He was also the one that scouted out this area over the weekend enabling us to break the great bluefish drought of '13.
