Had good fishing again today with limits. Most of the fish that were caught were quality fish. George Push of Westfield had his limit, two of his five were between three and five pounds. Jay the dentist from Westfield took the pool today with a fish close to six pounds. Pictures from today will follow eventually. Captain George's computer is down for the time being. Sailing tomorrow at 7am, returning at 2pm. Thanks.

Thank you gentleman - yes it was me - but I think I can tell the story a little better ??? Sorry LJ - I dont STFU on deck so why would it be any different here on the inter-webs
First the summer of "George " is just getting better and another " Sienfeld " reference is how the morning started as soon as I hit the boat - Todays episode - Bizzaro World - Big Gorski - woke up on the right side of Gorski - Little Gorski woke up on the wrong side of Gorski - which is bizzaro and I had - dare I say it - A party boat limit + - - The stars aligned , the moon was in phase and I actually had a great day with the wife the day before - I think I made her happy - ( she said it was her fault I had a great day and I said yes dear - I am her beeeaaattttccchhhh - land-sea or air ) Big Gorski is my ocean wife and little Gorski is my buckatailing sen-say . Also suicidal fluke help - :D
Morning started out AWESOME - high-low - 2 oz. glo/spro on the bottom with 4/0 bait-hook with - wait for it - 5" nuclear chichen swimming mullet about 12-20 inches above it . I also dropped my line down to 15lb. power-pro-8-super-slick (love-n-it) and it made the difference for me on my penn battle 4000 ( which I also love-it) . Also this year I stopped using stinger-hooks/trailer hooks . Picked up 3 solid keepers by 8:30 am and was all smiles from ear to ear.
As the day went on I was catching everythging - Georged a few here and there and picked another 3 keepers till the end of the trip . I had 1 fish that was close to 5 and I was in the running for the pool all day - but came in 2nd to the BIGGY FISHY - by that time I didnt care . I was just happy to have my first party boat limit + in over 2 years . I knew it was my day when I caught a short stryed carp ( Stryper ) and of course released un-harmed at the end of the day .
I had 6 keepers only keeping my limit and couldn't be happier
There might be something to this bucktailing thang after-all .
Thanks to my sen-say LJ - for helping/instructing me on the finer tails of bucktailing with a spinner-rod and dropping my braid down to 15 . Humble padawon very gretaful . Captain George - thanks again for putting us on the fishies and your effort as always SIR.
Get out there guys and gals - the flukies are hopefully turning on
Have a great and safe Fourth to everyone and See you on the water
GDubs -
