Our fishing today was much slower ad here is the story. The south wind continues and we are limited to where we can fish. By the time Sunday comes around the places with fish are pounded. There is no place to hide and the boat traffic was bad. Thank God tomorrow is Monday. I posted Friday that Saturday was the better day and it was. Patrick Costa from Boonton took the first keeper pool and the daily pool jigging. It was nice to see Ed Aspril also from Boonton and he also had a good day with the jigs.

Thanks Captain George

It wasnt for lack of effort , we bounced around everywhere just picking away here and there . The boat traffic was something else and kinda of funny when somebody thinks they own a piece of the ocean and only they can fish it ( especially when there boat is a hell-of-alot smaller and he was totally wrong). It was like a video game out there today and it is one of the reasons I dont own a boat.

Regardless Patrick was on-fire and mucho-grande redemption from last week Great catching sir and you took both pools - just beating out Jose- :), Jose I apologize it was my fault I gave you the maloik today and you cant use my cooler anymore-:D . Eddie is well Eddie and is a machine. The boat was just a slow day and nothing you can do about mother nature and when the fishies want to bite . Personally I googaned everything today, like Maxwell smart - missed it by that much and wound up with a big-ol Goose-Egg 0 and skunked. Cant complain though still have a freezer full of fish and there is only 1 more week to the summer of " George " and hopefully the weather holds up better this week.

I only got Gorskied x 1 today and next time - I will dip it in flour and look for the mangina - :D - I was told that is why I dont get a bucket - bait - ice and walk away with a limp.

I am working on the boss for the Fourth of July trip .

Be Well - Be Safe and Fish - On

Anybody using Killie's? I have been reading your reports about bait draggers doing well this year. I may be heading to fish with you soon George. I only was out once this year for Fluke. I was just wondering if it's worth the effort of getting them or not.
