The ocean was flat and we had a good NW wind and the day was sunny. The first few stops in the morning was a little slow. We went east into deeper water, we had a strong current with a .2 kt drift it was a "tide line".. We moved back to the beach area, where the fluke were active, we had the best bites of the day... Hi hook was 4 keepers, Ron Meyer from East Brunswick NJ won one pool with his 4 1/2 lb. fluke, Also Tom O' Brian from Toms River NJ won another pool with his 5 1/2 lb.
fluke. We also had a fluke over 6 lbs. he was not in any pool.. Mixed in the catch today were some nice Sea Bass, along with some jumbo short fluke, just under 17 1/2 inches.. Join us on fathers day. we leave at 7:30 am, no reservations required. " Happy Fathers Day"
