OBX Oregon Inlet charter recs

Hi guys going to OBX Kill devil hills in august looking to book a trip just have not found anyone I have really liked yet and the guys I did are to far of a drive from where I will be staying.

looking into the bull reds but amberjack or a reasonably priced offshore trip are also in the mix. anyone have any suggestions of guides they or a friend has used before?

You are so right on with Capt. Ross of the Obsession. He's located at Pirate's Cove Marina. The marina also puts together open boat trips. Good luck and have fun.

Always did well with Billy Maxwell/ Tuna Fever from Oregon Inlet. Also, Oregon Inlet has open boat charters if you don't have enough guys to fill the boat.
