Last nite after a late start ( due to Rt 71 bridge) we headed out to edge of the hole after a little looking around we found a descent body of BLUES:D . Due to conditions we drifted. All night you would see the BLUES on the surface swimming around the boat. We caught them OK it was just a pick , but they were the 6 -12 pound models. For the amount of BLUES swimming around we should have CRUSHED them , but we were happy what we had. High Hook of 10 somes had 5 or 6and down from there. Im sure it was conditions after the blow and swell we had it should get even BETTER for the amount of BLUES we saw last night.

Now today Capt Rich has the boat out and said the guys jigging are CRUSHING them and the bait floaters are BANGING away nicely on the 6-12 pound BLUES:D He will follow up with a full report and pics later.

Outstanding fishing for Big Blues today. You could catch as many fish as you wanted and most the fish were in the 10 to 12lb range. All the fish were caught on jigs, mostly 4oz Hammer jigs.

The weather looks good for the week and there seems to be a very big body of fish that moved in after Friday's storm, since today we fished 10 miles from where Capt Jim fished last night.

See pic's below
