Hit the water at 6am out of keyport. Great conditions at high tide. We picked away on a few shorts right out of the inlet and decided to head back a little further. Once we got out there we found wind against tide conditions so Capt. Rick found a nice ledge and power drifted up our first keeper. We stayed on that spot for the next 4 hours and caught a bunch with about a 1/3 keeper ratio. We nailed a 24" 5-1/2 lb and a 23" 5lb to round out 11 keepers. Back to the dock at noon. Felt great bouncing those bucktails again. Spearing was the bait of choice yesterday.
