Pride Fishing Tackle 10lber Navesink Fluke

[Pride Fishing Tackle]

Made about 4kts from Red Bank to the Oceanic bridge as I was having engine problems. Decided to do one drift as I was late getting back to the shop. Had my bucktail in the water for less than a minute and hooked my biggest ever River Fluke. I wish I could say it was skill but today was just my lucky day. The flatty weighed in a 10lbs on the nose.

wow, fish of a lifetime for most of us!... Back in the day , we used to say this little phrase to the guy that caught a fish like that on the first drop, or at an unlikely area, or using weird bait etc..
" man you got a BIG ass"... With loving kindness and respect of course!

Thanks for all the kind words. I have been fishing the Navesink since I was a little kid and have seen a few bigger Fluke caught. I never thought I would get so lucky to catch one that big. I caught the Fluke on a 3/4 S&S bucktail with a 4" Chart/Gulp Grub. It was definitely my lucky day, should have bought a lottery ticket that night.
