Took a group of 3 guys out do a quick morning bass trip. None of them have ever caught a bass so the pressure was on. Ran out the inlet and stopped at the hotel had really good reading tried jigging some fish but no luck. Continued north and ran into tons of bunker. Filled the livewells and with the good reading from the hotel and limited fishing time frame we decided to run back there. Got set up on the drift and immediately landed a nice fat 36lber. Stayed there all day landing three more. With the guys being new to live lining altogether we missed around another 10-15 bites. They all had a blast trying to hook em. Had tons of bunker and great readings all morning. Called it quits at about 11am and headed home. Awesome trip and glad to see the bass are finally showing up in numbers. Also the fog was very thick today!
Tight Lines,
Kenny
