First drum trip

Headed out for my first drum trip and man was
It great. We had about 30 drum up to about 60 pounds
Fishing was unreal and those drum put up a hell of
A fight. Cant waite to do it again

Good to hear about your trip; the Striper run down there was horrific this year. They need a good Drumfish season in a big way. Were you with John Peterson?

I was with adam and there was a john on the boat

John Peterson runs a NS boat out of Cape May. Had the pleasure of fishing with him twice. First trip a little on the slow side (but fun non the less), second trip we put 18 drum to #70 on the deck out of 20 hook ups (losing those 2 at the boat due to pulled hooks). Just read his report from a few days ago where his charter put 40 drum on the deck in just 3 hours.
