On Saturday Doc Sal and friends were aboard. Got bait outside inlet ,little stuggle but made enough then headed up the line. Did not see much all the way up. Lots of boats at the rocks. Slow pick on live lines as well as chunks. Ended the day with 6 fish up to 20 lbs.
On Sunday Lou Forenzi and Joanne were aboard . Weather was terrible ,wet all day and a SE wind, made we the best of it. bait was easier to get today a little north of inlet. Put 30 baits in boat then headed up so we could anchor . After 3 hours all we had to show was half eatin bunkers from Bluefish. Thanks to Ken on the Big Kid who called to say there was a troll bite not too far. Headed off to troll the spoons. 15 minutes later ,32 lb Bass in the boat, While we were getting squared away in the cockpit ,noticed on the fishfinder that the bass were stacked up under the boat. Put a live bunker out and within two minutes got picked up and second fish in. Back on the troll picked up two more before calling it a little early as the seas were getting to the crew. Also got a keeper Fluke while on the hook and two shorts. :)
