I was curious to see what progress was being made in the Keyport area so we stopped and looked around the waterfront. Several fishermen were casting baits from the bulkhead near the party boat's slip and we watched a couple of flatties being caught. For those who might want to spend some time in the area and spend some money with the local businesses (who can really use it) give it a try. By the way, things are coming back in that area and there appears to be progress to the marinas with lots of slips still available. Except for the Cottage Inn (which is now leveled) the restaurants seem to be back on track for a new season.
