It was a nice calm day out there and the fluke season started off in typical fashion, loads of shorts and some keepers mixed in. The AM trip started off great with a bunch of nice keepers coming aboard right away then it was a pick. Pool fish was 3 lbs.
The PM trip was more of the same, lots of smaller fish peppered with keepers. John nailed a nice 4.5lb pool fish (pic). On the way in we saw a big group of dolphins in the bay, maybe 25 to 30 of them or more right by the boat.
Thanks to all our passengers today for an enjoyable first day of the season!
