5/15 Had Carl and his two sons Eric and Chris for an afternoon trip. Was able to make bait with one throw and get to fishing. First drop consisted of 1 bass and a few blues on live bait. Made a move and found what we were looking for. Non stop bite for 2 1/2 hours until we left them biting at 9. Fish ranged from 15 to 25#. Only 3 fish were on live bait all others on chunks.
5/16 Had Gary, Chris, Greg, and Cory out for the afternoon. Made bait with a few throws and returned to where we had them night before. Put 2 nice fish in box very quickly live lining. After that we were invaded by blue fish for an hour. Made a small move and found the right marks and was game on. Was constant bite for the rest of the night with 3 or 4 on at a time. Fish were eating live bunker and chunks. Biggest fish of the night went in at 26#s. Afternoon bite has been very good. I have a few dates available for next week for anyone looking to get out in the action.
*Jersey Key is sailing out of Browns Point Marina in Keyport until ready to move over to Atlantic Highlands
