Tried a local pond after work starting off with a zoom ribbontail worm. Caught a few here and there, saw tons of big sunnies on their beds and couldn't resist..switched to my UL rod and got a handful of them along with some more bass that seemed to be more interested in trout magnets than the worms. After around a dozen bass i headed to another spot, trying out topwater frogs for the first time this year. Had lots of swirls and splashes on it but only one hookup, they weren't really comitting to it :(. After a quick bite to eat, fished one last spot for the day in hopes of quality catfish. Got rewarded with a dozen or so bullheads and 2 channels to 20" :D
